How is Bitcoin Genesis 1 described?
The Bitcoin Ecosystem project describes Bitcoin Genesis 1 (BTC1) as “The Decentralised Utility & Security Chain (proof-of-work)”. Its stated supply wording is 26.6 Million per year. These are project descriptions, not independent verification of implementation.

How do BTC, Bitcoin Core and BTC1 differ?
BTC is the native asset of Bitcoin. Bitcoin Core is software for the Bitcoin network. BTC1 is the label used by the Bitcoin Ecosystem project for Bitcoin Genesis 1. BTC1 is not presented here as a fork of Bitcoin.
1Bitcoin1 (1BTC1) is another label in the project’s family, described as “The Scarcity Anchor”, with supply wording “21 Million”. It is distinct from BTC1. See all six names in the Bitcoin Ecosystem family list.
What evidence would help you assess a description?
Compare published claims with reproducible node software, a public explorer, a genesis-block identifier and observable issuance. Check which network a document describes and whether its software and data agree.
Descriptions such as a stability layer or quantum-secure ledger are the project’s labels. A label alone does not establish asset backing, redemption rights, operational status or technical security.
